School access matters, but meaningful education must also build confidence, useful skills, networks and a credible pathway into opportunity.
Access to school is fundamental. But access alone does not guarantee that a learner develops confidence, practical capability or a credible pathway into adult opportunity.
Education becomes transformative when knowledge connects with mentoring, technology, real-world exposure and the social networks that help people imagine—and enter—new possibilities.
Development should not ask people to prove their strength forever. It should help strength become progress.
This is why our education work will look beyond attendance. We will ask whether participants gained useful understanding, completed meaningful learning, expanded their options and felt better equipped to act.
What this means for our work
We will continue to test this perspective against evidence, community feedback and implementation experience. The point is not to defend a perfect theory. It is to build a more useful institution.
